Whether you're an experienced swimmer seeking a new challenge or a novice looking to explore the vast wonders of the ocean, Indian Ocean Open Water Swim offers something for everyone.
The 10km swim is a qualifier for Rottnest Channel Swim and Port to Pub.
The course is a clockwise 1.25k circuit with a deep-water start.
The 500m course will be a shorter circuit. See map.
The support paddles will start along the backstraight and remain there until the shorter distances (1.25 & 2.5) are off the course.
Paddlers can then fully accompany their swimmers around the course.
The beach feeding zone is north of the start line. Swimmers must stay in the water, Floreat SLSC cannot provide feeders.
